SproutGrade is a small team building practice for kindergarten through grade 5 — exercises that mark themselves and explain every answer, a Singapore Math course, and honest preparation for gifted screening. Parents who find us tend to stay. The problem is how few of them find us. We are looking for a consultant to own our social presence end to end and turn what this site does into an audience of parents, homeschoolers and teachers.
What you would do
- Own the content calendar across the channels worth being on, from idea to published post.
- Write and produce the posts — short-form copy, clips of the exercises being worked through, and the explanations that make a hard idea land.
- Grow and engage a following of parents of young children, homeschoolers and primary teachers.
- Run small paid experiments and say honestly which ones are worth repeating.
- Report on what moved — reach, engagement, and sign-ups traced back to social.
- Work with the founder to shape how SproutGrade sounds in public.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years running social for a brand, product, or agency client.
- A portfolio of accounts you grew, with the numbers behind them.
- Strong short-form writing — most of this job is finding the sentence that lands.
- Comfortable editing your own video and graphics without waiting on a designer.
- Self-directed: this is a contract role with a lot of latitude and nobody looking over your shoulder.
- Sound judgement about children. Nothing we publish uses a child as a prop, and no claim about what practice does for a child goes out unless it is true.
Nice to have
- Experience marketing to parents, teachers, or the homeschool community.
- A background in teaching, or in education more broadly.
- Comfort talking about what a product does without overselling what it can do.
None of these are required. Somebody who has the rest of it and none of these is still worth talking to.
